The breakfast is a banquet - with lovely serving staff. The young man at reception was also excellent - helping us with maps and suggestions for restaurants. Lovely hotel in fantastic location just off the main square in Skopje.

We booked two rooms at Hotel Solun for 5 nights each at short notice. The hotel is very conveniently located right in the center. Check-in went smoothly and the staff at reception were always very friendly and courteous throughout our stay. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean, Wi-Fi worked without any problems. The view from the room of the building in front of it is certainly not nice, but we didn't mind as we were out and about all day. The quietness was also pleasant, there was no noise from the corridor or the neighboring rooms. There was everything we needed for breakfast and always fresh fruit. As we had to leave for the airport at 4 a.m. on the day of our departure, there was a small packed lunch for everyone on the way. We did not use the spa area.

An elegant and refined hotel, where everything is designed with great taste and a very modern style. Breakfast was varied, generous, and very tasty – the perfect start to the day. The room was extremely clean, spacious, fully equipped, and exactly as shown in the photos. The staff were outstanding – very hospitable, attentive to every detail, and always willing to help. They even accompanied us to show where the parking was, provided all the information we needed, and kindly helped us with our luggage. Private and secure parking is available right behind the hotel, with a barrier. It needs to be paid separately from the room. The location is excellent, just 2 minutes from the Old Town, making everything easily accessible. A wonderful stay in every way. Excellent value for money – highly recommended!

The room we had was quite small, esp the bathroom. Toilet was touching the hand wash basin so if someone is slightly bigger would get stuck! Having said that, we had a water leak from the wash basin so next day were upgraded to Deluxe room which was bigger and bathroom huge with 2 vanities. loved this room. Breakfast was Ok. Had buffet but basics, it was enough to start the day. Staff were great at reception and check in checkout was quick. They promptly took action to minor issues we had. There was a very small indoor lap pool and 2 beds which we booked at reception for an hour each day.

Location of the hotel was great, just close by the Macedonian square, but still peaceful. The breakfast was good with many options and even some variations from day to day. The room was spacious and clean. The staff helped to book daily trips and was easy and convenient.

The location of Hotel Solun is excellent – most of Skopje’s main sights can be reached within just a few minutes on foot. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a nice variety of delicious local food. The staff was also very helpful and friendly, which made our stay even more pleasant.

I really love this property. I would 100% stay here again. The room was amazing, spacious, and very comfortable. Housekeeping was great and cleaned the room every day as well as gave turn down service at night and put chocolates on the pillows. The food served at the hotel was delicious and customer service was great. I ordered a spa package and the massage was fantastic and the sauna was great as well. everything was within walking distance from the hotel . If I come back to Skopje, I will 100% stay here again and recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

The location is fantastic, the staff are friendly, the hotel facilities are good, and a good price for the location the hotel is in. Everything you need is in your doorstep. They upgraded my room so it was a bit bigger and had a bath, which I like but I know a bath isn’t for everyone. They do great massages too!

We had adjoining rooms with our friends on the first floor. These were the only two rooms on that floor, so we had a quiet stay and there was no noise at all throughout our trip. Breakfast was wonderful, fresh food every morning and plenty of tea and coffee on offer. We also had dinner at the hotel on one night and the food was very fresh and well cooked. The staff were lovely, and two of our party used the spa and also gave it good reviews. Location is perfect, in central Skopje and just a few minutes walk to the main square, Mother Theresa Memorial, the Stone Bridge, and is about a 15 minute walk to the Old Bazaar. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return.
